Well looks like Pete Docter will have something to keep himself busy after ‘UP’ hits theaters at the end of may.
It appears that Pete Docter has settled on his next directing gig and the film project is a familiar one. While he likely won’t be talking about it until his press junkets are through for “Up,” the feature that he’ll be working on(and has been for a while) is the sequel to “Monster’s Inc.” with tentative plans for it being Pixar’s 2013 release.
How do you feel about this? I loved ‘Monsters Inc.’ but I don’t think it lends it’s self to a sequel, however on the other hand there’s a whole ‘monster’ world we can explore. I’m sure Pete Doctor and everybody at Pixar will come up with something great.
