We’re a little late on this one, but I would like to openly proclaim my joy that Michael Cera has agreed to the much talked about ‘Arrested Development’ film.

Michael Cera has finally agreed to do the feature film project.
Cera had been the lone holdout among the show’s stars for several weeks. All other Bluths, including Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Jessica Walter, Jeffrey Tambor and David Cross, are already game, according to sources.
So now the whole family’s back on board. And Just as exciting; here’s a quote from Ron Howard from Sunday’s Oscars:
It’s looking very much like we’re going to make [the movie], but we’ve now been asked to stop offering any details. It’s cloaked in a little mystery, but it’s looking good.
Even with all this good news, I won’t be celebrating until everybody’s contracts are signed and they get a shoot date. Still this film has gone a long way from being just a joke from the final episode; (Your may remember when Ron Howard tells Maybe that he does not see the story working as a TV show, but maybe as a movie).
If you have never seen the show, I highly recommend you drop whatever your doing RIGHT NOW and go rent the first season. It’s one of the most original and funny shows I have ever seen.

I am glad he decide to do this, there couldn’t be a real movie without the full cast. I am surprise to hear money issues were a reason. He is by no means a star to pull that crap, plays the same role every time that in a few years fade out. I am looking forward to this.

It’s going to be great, I think Mitch Hurwitz has at least the first draft of a script done.
