“Coraline” is based on Neil Gaiman’s bestselling 2002 novel by the same name. A young girl, Coraline (Dakota Fanning), leads a relatively dull life until she discovers a door in her new home which leads her to a parallel reality. In this reality she leads a life quite similar to her life at home only with more fun and excitement, until things start to go wrong and her new parents try to keep her from ever getting back home.
“Coraline” is directed by Henry Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas), it also stars Teri Hatcher, John Hodgman, Ian McShane, Jennifer Saunders and Keith David. The film is set to hit theaters February 2009, it will be in 3D.
